New Moon in Leo ~ July 2022

Dear Friends,

There's a beautiful seed point for each New Moon. It's a universal seed of consciousness offering yet another luminous light filled month to unfold. We set intentions, send out wishes toward heavenly clouds so these wishes may rain down upon us...pouring forth virtues of the heart (Leo is ruled by the Heart). Tonight begins the crescent New Light. Seek it and watch it grow. and the stars are extra bright.

I find the new moon Sabian Symbol of great interest. We are at a seed point, on so many levels, and if this point of reference can serve as a keynote for Humanity, perhaps we may progress further. For those of us who deep dive into this opportunity, if for nothing else, to become the best we can be, we prosper. Little steps and big leaps, we move forward; and we must. Love is a virtue, like a delicate plant, seeking light, and the way toward full blossoming.

(LEO 6°): A CONSERVATIVE, OLD-FASHIONED LADY IS CONFRONTED BY A "HIPPIE" GIRL.

KEYNOTE: The need to transcend our subservience to fashion, in morals as well as in clothes.

This refers to the ever-changing pageant of social values, as ideals of human relationship succeed one another, one generation facing in the next an antithetic picture of what it has been brought up to consider worthwhile and decent. The confrontation may lead to great bitterness, yet it should show us the impermanence of most of what society impresses upon our collective mentality.

We are dealing now with cultural values and the emotional impact they have upon our character formation. Whereas the first degree of Leo dealt with an individual crisis of reorientation, the sixth degree refers to a collective, cultural and social crisis which challenges us to realize THE RELATIVITY OF SOCIAL VALUES.
