  • Nature and the Biology of Human Evolution

Power of Flower's Complete Set with book/deck and essences In the western hemisphere, it’s summer! Mountain streams are flowing with snow melt and wild flowers are blooming! It’s time to make flower essences! As I prepare a trek into the mountain meadows, I’m forever inspired by the  mysterious connection between humanity, nature and biology, along with the interface of Soul. We’re discovering the scientific link between our own genetic signature and the fabric of a much larger medical model, revealing the part we play in our well-being as we address emotion, mental attitudes, and spiritual attunement. This act of evolution as an ongoing living process: mysterious, inspiring, graceful and powerful. The Advancement of Epigenetics and Flower Essences The epigenome is a component of our DNA that differs from the fixed genetic code. Unlike the static nature of our genes, the epigenome is dynamic and can change or mutate throughout a person’s lifetime  in response to environmental influences, emotions, lifestyle, and consciousness. This field of study is known as epigenetics , which is widely researched both in scientific communities and within metaphysical or holistic frameworks. The term epigenetics comes from the Greek prefix epi , meaning “upon” or “above,” indicating that epigenetic factors operate on top of or in addition to  the basic genetic code. These factors do not change the DNA sequence itself, but instead influence how genes are expressed—essentially turning genes on or off. So, by viewing the human body as a multi-dimensional energy system , epigenetics opens the door to understanding how the soul or consciousness may interact with molecular biology . In this light, the epigenome becomes a potential bridge between our physical biology and the subtle energies of mind, emotion, spirit, and environment. Here are some points of reference: Choices Shape Our Biology . We’re Not Trapped by our Genes. One of the most empowering ideas from epigenetics is that we are not entirely bound by the genes we were born with . While genetic code is fixed, the expression  of those genes is flexible and responsive. This challenges outdated ideas of genetic determinism and opens the door for transformation, healing, and growth—even across generations. Healing Emotional and Ancestral Patterns Epigenetic changes can also be influenced by emotional trauma, belief systems, and ancestral memory . Trauma that wasn’t resolved in one generation may carry over epigenetically—but the good news is that conscious healing can shift those patterns. Practices like inner child work, shadow integration, breathwork, and energy healing may affect the epigenome by altering our internal chemistry and responses to life. Flower Essences ~ Spiritual Highlights From a metaphysical perspective, the epigenome may act as a kind of interface between the soul and the body —responding to the vibrational information you feed it. As such, our thoughts , emotions, and consciousness become agents of transformation  in the physical body. Acts of love, creativity, presence, and aligned intention may literally reprogram cellular expression. Like the study of flower essences, epigenetics can cue us into a deeper understanding of our physical and spiritual existence. The fact that epigenetic processes are continuously at work and changing indicate that the evolutionary process is in constant motion. It appears we have an exciting part to play in the continuum of our health and destiny. I’m involved in a new project adding new flower blends to our repertoire of healing, addressing humanity’s advanced evolution during changing times. Stay tuned!

  • Elemental Consciousness and the Healing Force of Nature

Oregon hike! When I was a little girl I shared a bedroom with my older sister. Arranged side by side, each bed had a shelved headboard that served as a childhood “altar,” displaying the things in life that separated us from one another.   My favorite item was a piece of cobalt blue glass that was flat, luminescent and about the size of a brick. I don’t know where it came from but it became an object of my imagination. I searched for items; an acorn resembling a fairy hat, a feather, a bird’s nest, a leaf shaped like an elf shoe, to place upon the glass. I wished for a Tom Thumb or a fairy like Thumbelina to accompany the treasures on my headboard. At age eight I discovered Troll Dolls. Some of you might remember these. I purchased colored squares of felt that I sized into little vests, hats, and dresses to outfit my trolls. The Troll Dolls delighted me. They nurtured a part of my soul that longs to commune with nature spirits, gnomes, flower fairies and the healing properties of nature.   As my life unfolded I would experience a deep and kindred relationship with the invisible forces of Nature, the Elemental Kingdom, and the luminescent light of flowers and plants. There will always be speculation regarding the unseen energies in the Universe as they are fiercely questioned by skepticism. In our current paradigm we have lost the ability to merge intellect with feeling and perception. The realities that lie behind our sense world, however, behind the world which humanity experiences as a physical existence, are palpable.   I am sitting in a lush valley in Hawaii and I am twenty-two years old. Uncannily open to the beauty of nature, I feel expansive and light filled. I knew this feeling as a child, although it frightened me, from my frequent ‘out of body’ travels at night.  Alone in the vastness of nature, I am not afraid. Receptive to the radiating flow spiraling color around my body, I feel peace, calm, and a wish to understand.  Accelerated light speeds up, green fern leaves vibrate so quickly I can put my hands through them.  I see the invisible…made visible.  When the light turns back into the form of leaves and flowers, I hear these words: “You have seen the light weavers of nature. This energy shape- shifts life. This is the blue print of the universe…light filled accelerated color, energy patterns and illumined spaciousness.”   This magnetic energy is referred to as Devic Consciousness, a quickened magnetic field of higher vibrational energy and light. Subtle matter, especially astral matter, is magnetic and expansive. Movement at this level is relatively fluid, compared to the dense physical plane. The slower moving, dense physical matter is referred to as the Atomic Plane. Our universal template is composed of various regions spanning many levels of vibrational influences from angels, plant devas, gnomes, right up to the Holy Trinity, a three fold dimension of The Feminine Soul of Nature, or Natura.   The territory of Nature embraces the embodiment of Divinity and serves as a mirror to Humanity. Nature itself is a reflection of balance which harmonizes the polarities of male/female, yin/yang, dark/light, heaven/earth, and spirit/matter. Our attempt to steward this knowledge and develop relationship with this cosmic field of elemental complexity requires the skill to seize ownership of our own Earth life. I would call this Ascension.  This field of knowledge can be defined as Devic Consciousness, a quickened magnetic field of higher vibrational energy and light. Of initiation into Elemental Consciousness and Soul Awakening…a royal gift offered to those who wish to see further into the realm of multi-dimensional Truth.   It is 1990 and I just arrived at the coast in Oregon where I will continue to write the text for the Inner Child Cards.  My cabin rests on a cliff over looking the Pacific Ocean. I recall the force of elemental intrusion that had shocked me out of my sleep the last time I stayed here. I lay my bags and books on a table and arrange my writing desk just the way I want it. I put away the groceries that I brought for my two week writing retreat. I can’t say why, but I lie down on the bed in this one room cabin and fall asleep. In my sleep I am once again ruffled as if someone is on the bed with me… I resist, and then I feel surrender…soon I am embraced in a sphere of blue, a blue I can not describe, and will never see again. The blue sphere becomes smaller and smaller until it is a jeweled dot of energy and I am in it. I am zinging about the room with quick and blissful movement. I also know that I am lying on my bed. The duality of this reality does not disturb me. When I return to my body it is a soft landing and these words are heard,” You have just experienced the joy of the universe. It is a permanent force of light that you may tap into whenever you wish. It will never betray you.” My life felt different from that day on…Awakened, I take a long walk on the beach and I swear I saw a mermaid sitting on a rock that day.   Finding our way through life changing events can prove enchanting, mysterious, and offers an opportunity to explore the responsibility of what it means to embody a mystical experience. We must align our life so as not to get carried away by the awe of it… and actualize the success of a physical life. True knowledge can only live within the individual when, alongside the aspirations for higher consciousness, a full measure of willingness to fulfill a destiny is sought. A journey into elemental consciousness can be life changing. When we become kindred with the light of this vibrational energy, something shifts deeply within the cellular body. It is a visceral experience. And we are changed forever.

  • The Soul's Code: Awakening Through Archetype, Astrology, and Destiny

~ Isha Lerner Major Arcana The Tower ~ Rapunzel from Inner Child Cards While researching and writing The Inner Child: A Fairy Tale Tarot , I was deeply inspired by the profound connection between Tarot and the mystical language of fairy tales. Layer upon layer of hidden wisdom began to emerge, revealing a lifetime journey into the Soul’s Code, Incarnation, and Destiny. Recently, I’ve launched a new exploration of human archetypes—especially the 22 Major Arcana cards—as they relate to our biology and genetic coding, using a variety of esoteric and scientific tools. This journey has expanded into the multidimensional realm of epigenetics , which examines the relationship between our genetic profile and the environment, our actions, and choices. Our very human design  is revealed in archetypes—both individual and cultural—that have been cultivated, sustained, and transformed across the ages. The families we are born into, the environments we choose, and the sacred agreements we carry are all encoded within our DNA. Individuation is not isolated; it is part of a greater collective—a universal blueprint that shapes the mystery of cellular communication both spiritually and biologically. The 22 Major Arcana cards  represent the evolutionary path of consciousness that begins at birth and continues beyond. They form a sacred system—perhaps born of stardust, planetary forces, or ancient civilizations still veiled in time. This universal weaving is not separate from everyday life—it is the secret architecture of it. With our birth, we become conscious participants, gradually uncovering insights that illuminate our path toward freedom and joy. Take, for instance, The Tower  card—often associated with sudden liberation, divine intervention, and awakening. In The Inner Child Cards , The Tower  is reimagined through the fairy tale of Rapunzel . Here, Rapunzel is the soul incarnated—captured by an enchantress (the karma of incarnation), held in the tower (a soul initiation), and ultimately liberated when her golden braid is cut (symbolizing the severing of egoic patterns and soul contracts). This golden braid is the code we are each born with. Rapunzel’s awakening unfolds when she is cast into the desert—abandoned and stripped of all she had known. In this barren landscape, she must rediscover her inner nourishment. This mirrors the Tower phase  many experience when transformational transits from outer planets—Uranus, Neptune, or Pluto—form aspects to personal planets like the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, or Mars. Over years of working with clients using Tarot and karmic astrology (through a method I call Power Mapping ), I’ve discovered a threefold pattern  at the heart of every archetype and myth: Incarnation , Initiation , and Enchantment . This sacred triad appears across countless fairy tales and myths—three tasks, three wishes, threefold trials—each a gateway to soul work. It reflects the number three  in the Tarot, associated with The Empress , who represents Earth, embodiment, and our connection to the natural world. The first layer, Incarnation , is symbolized by the Orphan —the soul at the beginning of the journey. This phase is echoed in psychology as the starting point of the Hero’s or Fool’s Journey. The Fool (ruled by Uranus, numbered zero) sets forth with innocence and trust, unaware of what lies ahead. In fairy tales, the orphan often appears when the mother dies or the child is abandoned. This symbolic “cutting” of the umbilical cord represents the soul's descent to Earth, where it must walk its own path and rediscover meaning. This is the first stage of embodiment. The second layer, Initiation , brings the challenges that refine and shape the soul. Here, the individual faces trials—remnants of karmic memory or past-life fragments—that must be re-patterned and healed. This phase is represented by cards such as The Magician , Justice , The Wheel of Fortune , The Hanged One , Death , and Temperance . Through these archetypes, we confront fears, shadow, and limitation—often symbolized by dragons or adversaries—and through this process, empowerment begins to awaken. The final layer, Enchantment , initiates a phase of miraculous insight and spiritual rebirth. This is when the soul is touched by grace—perhaps through a dream, a teacher, a synchronicity, or a catalyzing event. It is a time when all can change. Fairy tales capture this moment through transformation: the frog becomes a prince, the kiss awakens the sleeping princess, the genie offers a wish. These stories reflect the breaking of a deep inner spell—an old code that kept us limited. This phase seeks to embody The World  card—a completion and wholeness that includes self-love, creativity, service, and joy. It is here we recognize that even Saturn, often seen as harsh, holds the seed of our joy —a pattern of discipline that becomes freedom. We are born with a quest for Enchantment —to rediscover the light we carry within. As we awaken, our myth transforms. We return to the essence of Love, Service, and Joy. This is the evolution of The Fool's Journey. Years of client work inspired the creation of Power Mapping , a method I now offer to those seeking deeper connection with their soul code . It includes identifying Saturn’s placement in the birth chart, its aspects, the North and South Nodes, and their biological resonance with epigenetic patterns. Through this process, we usher individuals toward their soul tasks, healing, and destiny. Each of us is the protagonist of our own myth—a hero or heroine on the path of spiritual transformation. • Embodied as Woman

Triple Goddess Tarot: Illustration Mara Friedman, created by Isha Lerner Wherever we walk, as women, we carry the deep wisdom of the earth within us. There are Maidens in their nineties and Crones in their teens — for age is not a line, but a spiral. We live in the rhythm of the Triple Goddess, moving through her sacred gateways—Maiden, Mother, and Crone—not in sequence, but as needed by the soul’s unfolding. Remember this: our physical age reflects the Biology of Time, but our inner age is shaped by the miraculous, epigenetic rhythm of Soul Time. True time lives in the cycle of your life’s wheel, moving in harmony with the sacred evolution charted by your soul. What truly matters is honoring the destiny you are living right now—embracing it fully. In doing so, you will uncover meanings that only your heart can translate. You are woman—strong, radiant, and whole. As for me, I am spinning a luminous web, stepping into the shimmering mystery of the Crone. Threads of Maiden and Mother glimmer through, adding depth and brilliance to my tapestry. With each strand, a pattern of infinite potential reveals itself. I dance, I reflect, I celebrate the rediscovery of meaning within my heart. I honor the story of the Maiden. I honor the seeds within me and scatter them as I go. I understand the unlimited and spontaneous joy of adventure that calls to me now.    I honor the story of the Mother. I offer warmth and light to tender shoots. I understand the joy of nourishment and care. I honor the story of the Crone. I understand what it means to let go and surrender to the unfolding wisdom within. I honor all women as we spiral through the gateways together.

  • The Sacred Geometry of Nature: A Dance of Divine Design

Natura: The Queen of Nature In the quiet hush of the forest, beneath the watchful gaze of the stars, there lives a language not written in words but woven in patterns. It is the whisper of sacred geometry—the divine blueprint pulsing through every petal, pine cone, and galaxy spiral. Nature is not random. She is intentional. She is poetry in motion, unfolding herself in circles, spirals, and stars. The tree does not merely grow—it dreams itself upward, branching in sacred echoes of itself. Fractals are the soul’s signature in matter, where the whole repeats within every part. Rivers mirror veins. Lightning mirrors roots. The spiral of a fern mirrors the spiral of time itself. Each unfolding fractal is a reminder: you too are an infinite pattern , a sacred echo of the cosmos expressed in skin and breath. The sunflower doesn’t just bloom—it sings a golden song. Petals unfold in the rhythm of the Fibonacci sequence , each number a note in an ancient harmony of becoming. From pine cones to galaxies, this spiral is the dance of divine proportion—the golden ratio—where beauty and purpose are one. We are not apart from this song. We are the music. A butterfly opens her wings in perfect balance—not just for beauty, but as an invitation: come into harmony with yourself . The bee, the sacred pollinator, builds in hexagons —geometry's most efficient shape. The honeycomb is a temple of golden wisdom, where sweetness and structure meet. It speaks of divine order, community, and the sacred communion of the Divine Feminine. Beyond what we see, sacred geometry weaves the very fabric of existence. Crystals grow in perfect symmetry. DNA spirals through our cells like a divine script. The stars spin in celestial patterns we barely understand, yet they shape the tides of our dreams. Let us bow in reverie to the sacred geometries that mirrors our lives. . For in nature’s patterns, we remember: We are not separate from the design. We are the design. Living. Breathing. Becoming.

  • The Treasure of Your Inner Child

The truest meaning of the Inner Child is defined as the humble, illumined, and creative treasure of Love offered to each individual at the moment of birth. This beauty, when restored and revitalized, enables us to retrieve heartfelt Love in our life and in relationships. By reaching deeply into the beauty of our innocence, the humility of True Love will always be found, for the love that lives within the Cave of the Heart mirrors the relationships we attract in our life. That is why our life is very much like a ‘Magic Mirror’ reflecting the innermost truth of our own Self Love. This card reflects your “Inner Child,” the true you, and the Love within your heart at this time. Our souls continue to yearn for a greater understanding of love. Like the Zen koan that asks, “What was your Original Face before you were born?” or Snow White’s evil stepmother’s query as she gazes into the mirror, “Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?” we are always searching to know who we truly are and how love resides within our hearts. This reality is constantly changing within our awareness, especially for those dedicated to living a conscious life. The ‘Inner Child’ reflects the treasures of creativity, love, and individuation that live within the core of your True Self today. The image of this card reveals the purity of your incarnation and the essence of love that is yours to behold within all relationships in the world and within the magic mirror of your beautiful life.

  • Geometric Poetry of the Human Soul

There is geometry in the humming of the strings, there is music in the spacing of the spheres. ~ Pythagoras Sunrise to sunset, flowers adorn our planet in a multitude of ways, and the subtle nature of their exquisite beauty is an eternal blessing to humanity. Even if you lived in a cave, and never actually saw a flower, they would still wrap you in their loving embrace, for the essence of flowers permeates the earth within and without. There are so many ways to engage with flowers, be it a stroll in the garden, a floral painting on the wall, scented oil from the blossoms, a bouquet of freshly picked flowers, or a vibrational remedy. We have the option of going to the flowers in any way we choose. My truest love, aside from the mere presence of the flowers themselves, is applying flower essence therapy. After thirty years of working with the elixirs, it is no longer about believing in them or proving that they work; I know them for the powerful healers they are. I know them as geometric poetry of the human soul. And I know them as practical remedies that have assisted family and clients with healing application. Each flower holds a specific healing pattern, a miniature holographic universe of its own, that mirrors the human biology in specific circumstance for each individual. The primary purpose of the Power of Flowers remedies and cards is to invite us to relate with nature more intimately through the practical application of flower essences. It is very important for people to understand that this is not a complicated science set aside for a gifted minority of mystically minded pioneers. The essences are here for all of humanity, rich or poor, and all color and creed. Edward Bach offered us a peek into the eternal medicine bag of nature, the plants themselves, asserting over and over again that the natural world speaks a language of harmony and goodwill for all of humankind. Bach wrote, "Once we realize our own Divinity the rest is easy." Flower essences address the conditions of both our spiritual and mortal bodies. If there is discord, disease will follow. Disease is the soul's way of addressing imbalance. For example, negative emotions, such as fear and anger, create rigidity and disharmony in the body and these unhealthy constructs can eventually turn into physical disease. Flower essence therapy addresses the mental states within us that distort the soul's spiritual journey. Flower essences, working in the sacred space between body and soul, wash away our impurities, and anchor the soul in the rich new soil of encouragement and hope. All people are invited to use flower essences in their everyday life in order to prevent and cure disease. We are all healers, graced with the virtues of love and compassion. It is the work of our souls to draw this force forward so as to be in service to one another. There are times, however, when a professional in the art of flower essence diagnose flowers with great skill. One practitioner may use methods such as muscle testing and hypnotherapy to diagnose flowers, while another may use a pendulum. The most important tool of all, of course, is Love. Recommendation: One of our most Popular Essence is  Bleeding Heart , which purifies and strengthens the heart chakra, as well as emotions concerning love. Soothe your emotions with calm. https://www.powerfloweressences.com/product-page/bleeding-heart-flower-essence

  • The Humble Work of Soul

Fill my heart with Love, that my every teardrop may become a star. ~ Hazrat Inayat Khan As we enter the phase of Saturn in Pisces and Pluto in Aquarius we’ll be challenged to make peace with uncertainty and explore an urgent call toward Adaptation. Plants and nature know this process well. In simple truth, Humanity must learn from nature, the environment, the seasons, and from the natural way a tree, a flowering plant, or a seedling adapts through various stages of its life cycle. Perhaps we are seedlings, embarking upon new consciousness within a freshly plowed foundation. What guides us now? Who do we trust as a leader, teacher, a holy guide, or healer? As the earth changes, we change, and in turn, the world reflects a many-sided mirror that reveals a magnetic view of our own True Self. The way we perceive and behave is reflected back to us through this magnetic field. The essence of Humanity is very much united as 'One Pure Organism in Consciousness', the evolution of our planet is determined by the way we choose to live. Quite timely, new evidence in genetic research offers empirical data regarding the process of behavior and result. Quite timely, new evidence in genetic research offers empirical data regarding the process of behavior and result. Through the study of epi-genetics, we learn new responses to patterned behavior may re-code inherited emotions and material from the past. We actually recharge the genetic field through 'new behavior,' sparking old genes backwards, and new genes forward. This organic genetic coding offers a new understanding between the science of the body and emotions. In spite of social unrest, and as we re-balance our social structure post pandemic, we find ourselves in a global growth spurt. Like a child, we may be a bit awkward, however, with proper guidance and a strong social body, we'll hopefully walk in balance with new strength. Powerful healing is a possible reward following willingness to face obstacles, and 'carry on.' It's planetary, cellular, and epic all at the same time. As co-creator of Inner Child Cards, I had opportunity to explore and research the universal journey of the Soul through symbol, fairy tale mysticism and tarot. With tender Inner Child work we touch the universal hem of suffering, for some, more than others. The moisture/emotion of suffering, when brought to light into understanding, allows for compassion and empathy, connecting one with Heart Wisdom. This work of soul enables return to Original Blessing. It is wise to address the emotional body as director of the Heart. The art of living embodies both, suffering and joy; a reverie of universal lessons and initiations. In exploring the depths of fairy tale mysticism and the twenty-one teachings from the Major Arcana, an unveiling of cosmic origins, ancestral lineage, and potential evolution becomes a plausible path toward Spiritual Awakening. Our body is informed through the Heart: it informs; and listens, responding to conscious and unconscious promptings of emotion and thought. A pivotal aspect of healing involves the retrieval of ‘an original birth-right.' This gift of love is abundant and offered to all, yet, difficult to receive, particularly if early childhood had been patterned with trauma or uncertainty within family structure. The exquisite freedom found within the spectrum of personal healing is well earned through personal evolution and the comprehension of karmic influences. There is 'no blame' within this construct. We are ‘a diamond in the rough’ – a beauty earned. May your own ‘Work of Soul’ lead you toward a Treasured Life. Note: Isha Lerner offers mentorship, classes, and in-depth sessions that include the process of identifying karmic imprints with the work of Astrology, known as Power Mapping. Author of four tarot book/deck publications, Isha holds a passion for symbolism and guidance offered through tarot. You may wish to order a tarot session with her. Also, the Wounded Healer archetype is connected with her flower essence Bleeding Heart. Bleeding Heart flower remedy is gentle yet potent, aiding all things related to the Heart Chakra and a Healed Heart. May you walk in beauty and peace.

  • The Mother Womb and Ancestral Imprint

"Before we were born into this material realm, our embryonic selves floated within fluids of the womb, the waters of life. Advance scientific research in genetics and epi-genetics and DNA science reveal evidence that we are influenced by this genetic code. Our reactions, emotions, and unconscious behaviors are governed equally by our generational influences, environment, and karmic patterns. Family members may each have their own unique patterning and DNA factors." Isha Lerner The design of a human embryo is a spiral pattern, an evolutionary signature at the core of all life beginning sea creatures, shells, rocks, plants and flowers. The interconnection indicates a fundamental unity with the cosmos and the Milky Way; a spiral of multitudes of stars and planets. Our very natures are interdependent on this source of life, a greater mystery, and a vibrational energy we call Human Incarnation. We are indeed a human tribe. Together our bodies carry variable emotions, experiences, and memories. For centuries, human consciousness has been explored through the design of the human body. Ancient cultures considered the body a microcosm of the universe, where body organs were connected to planets; meridians represented connecting lines of energy flow and the mystical and science were interconnected, not alienated from each other. Today, however, a chasm interferes with the flow of universal oneness. The energy between matter (physical) and energy (vibrational) was separated. Connectivity was shattered and a new paradigm of logic swept human consciousness. A great error occurs as humanity became more and more separated from nature, the living intelligence of ancestry, and most importantly, we became increasingly estranged from the Life of the Soul. Emotional energy is the source of our creative center. We will not find the source of purpose, sustainability or destiny without contact with core energy, or true self. Many in today’s world push in the wrong direction, causing burn-out, exhaustion, depression, anxiety, compromised immune systems and illness. Our health depends on new paradigms of healing, new daily health practices and a revival that extends into vibrational healing. Our bodies are living, breathing kaleidoscopes connecting multiple links between stars and plants. This universal template is a divine mirror between the co-creative forces of Humanity and Nature; ethereal yet grounded, a magic mirror of life. We are indeed indebted to the tireless work of generations in the field of health and healing. As medicine advances in the world of science and technology, we must not lose the inter-connectivity between the design of nature and human genetics. With respect for all fields of medicine in the world, may we continue to embrace the beauty of our origins, the Great Mother Womb, that has imprinted upon our Destiny the work of the Soul. “The art of healing comes from nature, not from the physician. Therefore, the physician must start from nature, with an open mind.” ~ Paracelsus

  • Epi-Genetics and Flower Essences

All forms of life resonate on energetic wavelengths. Plants, animals, humans, and planets are interconnected on a greater spectrum of energy. Progressive healing models are researching the multi-dimensional phenomenon of our physical as well as emotional bodies. Understanding the full picture of our life force and health opens a dynamic field of study known as Vibrational or Energy Medicine. The impact of this awareness offers new systems of healing as we develop a greater awareness of emotional and mental care. Flower Essence Therapy is one such medical model brought to our attention by the late Dr. Edward Bach in the early 1900’s. Ahead of his time, Dr. Bach understood the synergy between emotion, mental constructs, the physical body, and the soul’s karmic template. His well documented work has proven a gold mine and serves as a pioneering inspiration in the field of Vibrational Medicine. His work has opened the door to our understanding of how emotion may hinder the progress of wellness. We now have a model of energy medicine that has been well documented for nearly a century. Flower essences heal the body in a different way than aromatherapy and homeopathy does, however, they all share in the support of whole body awareness. Each modality has profound impact on the emotional, mental, physical, spiritual and etheric body field. A Flower Essence is a living energetic medicine made from the biological imprint of the living plant's vibrations in water. The Flower Essences are created and preserved in pure spring water and a preservative, most commonly brandy; however, vinegar, vodka, and glycerin have been used for sensitive individuals. Flower essences are taken orally under the tongue, applied to the body, or made into a spray. When a person places a few drops of a flower's essence under the tongue, the energy of the flower, vibrating at its own special frequencies, floods one's aura. The flower's vibrations are now within the body/aura's vibrations and the flower's healing essence will harmonize the body/aura vibrations to its own special healing needs. Each flower carries within its plant signature a healing message; an attunement to the human body. When the needs of the individual are met by the healing qualities of the flower, a unique resonance of light and healing may occur. Flower essences bring the individual into balance with the subtle properties of nature and thereby with their own embodiment potential. Flower essences have the ability to alter epi-genetic processes by energizing the body’s ability to gently shift the static and broken aspects of a soul’s evolution. Once flower essence therapy has begun for an individual, profound shifts in consciousness may occur allowing for a rejuvenated experience of freedom and health. Unlike herbs and supplements, flower essences have the unique ability to alter psychological aliments. Since we are all linked on the vibrational spectrum, the energetic imprint has a deep affect spiritually. What makes us who we are? – It’s the psychological debate of nurture versus nature. While we are a combination of these two, false dichotomy states that we do not take part in the magical creation of our incarnation. We are now discovering the link between our own mysterious DNA and the fabric of a much larger medical model that will continue to reveal the part we play in our well being through emotion, mental attitudes, and behaviors. The act of evolution is an ongoing process and flower essences are key in helping humanity align with new scientific and spiritual truths.

  • Inner Child Work ~ The Retrieval of Love

“Fairy stories serve as a stepping-stone between worlds of imagination and real-life lessons.” ~ Isha Lerner ~ from Inner Child Cards Are you an Earth Orphan? Sometimes lonely, though surrounded by loving people? Magnetic and joyful, yet oddly melancholic for no apparent reason? Loved as a loyal friend, family member and confident leader, yet secretly feel disconnected from the norms of everyday society. If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then you may be an Earth Orphan? Symbolically, we are all Orphans. When the cosmic umbilical is severed at birth, we become a participant of earthly existence. The Universal Mother Womb is indeed our ultimate birther. We are made of Her stars, planetary dust, and heavenly particle. Upon our birth, our earthly family, gender, and genetics make up the karmic material of incarnation. These factors, including environmental influences, creates the framework for the soul to do good work; to fulfill a destiny. I love this quote from the original tale of Beauty and the Beast, ‘A Broken Heart is an Open Heart.’ Fairy tales are made to lift the spirit by sharing treasured wisdom. As we explore our human emotion through fairy tales, myth and archetype, evolution through suffering may be the very way we retrieve love, compassion and empathy. As I studied and researched the essence of fairy tale lore and it’s mystical meaning, I came to understand the significance of repeated characters in a story, be it the wicked witch, princess, prince, huntsman, and so on. They symbolize raw and powerful fractals of oneself, mirrored aspects of the initiations we face throughout a lifetime. Within the context of tarot and fairy tale myth we find three major steps toward Soul Healing. These three stages are found within the twenty-two Major Arcana tarot cards and within fairy tale lore. They depict the organic transformations an individual will experience during momentous shifts of consciousness and maturation. One, Birth, (the orphan stage), Two, Initiation, (work of the soul), and Three, Enchantment, (liberation, freedom, and awakening). The first stage, Birth, is represented in most fairy tale stories as an ‘orphaned birth,’ and represented as the ‘Fool’ or ‘Hero’s Journey,’ number zero, in the Major Arcana. The orphaned birth is paramount; it urges growth when the process of individuation must begin. It invites one to explore expression through authenticity. The seed of genius, the magic of the genie, is planted within the garden of imagination. Events in stories, or, in real life, when we are lost, abandoned, or within the embrace of suffering, prompts us to find our 'own way.' The pursuit must be earnest, and to succeed, a willingness to endure future tasks is paramount. The second phase, Initiation, fosters an active pursuit to seek inner nourishment through courage and willingness. In whatever manner the fragments of a shattered past have hardened or paralyzed the soul force, in this phase, the energy must be softened, reshaped, and made conscious. The tasks of Initiation are then rendered through service. The ‘work of soul;’ urges resolution, resolve, and understanding. The third stage is Enchantment. This is the final breakthrough. At this stage, divine intervention and miraculous potential takes over. The individual has recognized and resolved the odds that had been stacked against them from past karmic patterns, childhood trauma, and limitations through fear and judgment. This process breaks a spell, or curse, that had resided within the unconscious. The individual is offered a gift of rebirth and revelation! In fairy tales, the Enchantment phase is represented by the appearance of a genie, a frog turning into a prince, a loving kiss that awakens a sleeping princess from one hundred years of sleep, and so many other magical events that reshape reality. As consciousness awakens, and as we find new forms of love and nourishment, a growing hunger for ‘enchantment’ or ‘rebirth’ knocks upon the door of the Soul. And, Once Upon a Time, a new chapter begins. A creative relationship with The Inner Child or Original Self is restored. This is a beautiful stepping stone toward the Retrieval of Love. • Shooting Star: Enhance your Genius

Shooting Star expands my role, So I may truly unite, With the memory of my star-bright soul, And my mission of cosmic light. Shooting Star is a spring flower. It can be found growing in meadows and other wild areas where the soil is rich and fertile and there is an abundance of water. This beautiful little flower resembles a star or comet zooming to earth-hence, its name. As a flower essence, Shooting Star is most beneficial to those who feel alienated from the numerous aspects of earthly existence-and suffer deeply for it. Many were the so called ‘black sheep’ of their families, and report a decided lack of affinity with their familial roots. Like the Shooting Star, they possess a highly sensitive disposition and thrive only in very refined environments. The essence re-patterns the soul force and reconnects them to their true, cosmic origins. Once they have remembered their true identity, place of origin, and destiny, these weary wanderers are finally able to embrace earthly existence, as well as to offer their special gifts to the more earth-bound beings in their midst. At last, their evolution, their experiences in the human realm become fuel for their own evolution, as the daily spectacle of human confusion and suffering awakens their tender hearts to love and compassion. This can be a wonderful remedy for the children who have had an especially traumatic birth and are mightily resisting their earthly incarnation. Many of these souls are, in fact, star beings seeking a way to usher in the unique flights of spirit they have carried with them from other worlds. The flower’s archetypal signature is the Star Child. This influence exists in children as well as adults. As I work with clients in need of Shooting Star it is often revealed that there is something highly unusual and uniquely wonderful about this person, some rare combination of qualities and interests that make for a special gift. Along with this gift often comes suffering, associated with feelings of invisibility at the deepest level, combined with a potent longing to be truly seen and affirmed. Shooting Star has proven itself an excellent remedy for the individual suffering in this way, perhaps because like the starship-shaped flower, he or she seems to have zoomed into the Earth realm for some very special reason. This essence offers a potent reminder and celebration of one’s distant origins and unique perceptions and talents.
